Each round has seven questions. You get 3 seconds to read and 25 seconds to answer each one, so a round usually takes a few minutes.

Try a less familiar answer that fits the question’s scope. Answers earn 10 to 100 points, and each point adds 10 metres to your depth.

Select Skip question to move on. A skipped question or an expired timer scores zero; it does not take away points you already earned.

Check the scope and spelling. Some questions use a selected list, so another valid answer may be missing. Try again before time runs out; case and accents do not matter.

With saved history available, any seven consecutive rounds use 49 different questions. Questions can return later, or sooner if you clear your browser’s site data.
